Morocco: A new 15-day aid for road hauliers in the face of the increase in diesel fuel

By: Drafting

The Moroccan government is extending its direct support for people and goods transport professionals. Registration for this additional tranche will open on November 10, 2026 on the Muakaba electronic platform.

The Moroccan Government has announced a new tranche of exceptional support for professionals in the road transport of people and goods. This aid will cover an additional period of 15 days.

Applications can be submitted from Tuesday, November 10, 2026 on the Mouakaba electronic platform, set up by the Ministry of Transport and Logistics to manage registration and tracking of the device.

This measure comes after a further increase in fuel prices since 1 November. The price of diesel has increased to 1 dirham per litre in some gas stations, reaching nearly 17 dirhams.

Unleaded petrol, on the other hand, fell between 10 and 30 cents, according to distributors. For carriers, whose fuel accounts for a significant part of the operating costs, this trend directly affects the costs of operations.

The extension of the aid is intended to limit the impact of the increase in petroleum products on the activities of the sector according to the authorities. It concerns both passenger operators and freight carriers.

According to the services of the head of government, this new tranche is a continuation of the accompanying measures undertaken in response to the rise in international oil prices and its effects on the domestic market.
