CSafe has launched the CSafe Connect mobile app to extend the functionality of its managed temperature shipping platform to iOS and Android. For pharmaceutical laboratories, freight forwarders and airlines, this solution allows real-time tracking of containers, shipments and leases from any operating location.
Presented on August 11, 2026, the CSafe Connect Mobile App implements on a smartphone the features of the cloud platform CSafe Connect, so far mainly accessible on a computer.
Users can now view shipment data, track container conditions and their GPS position in real time, manage leases and place new orders directly from warehouses, airports or any other operational site.
The platform is used by players in the pharmaceutical cold chain to manage shipments made with active and passive containers, coordinate logistics operations and track transport data.
By making this information available on a mobile basis, CSafe intends to facilitate team interventions in the field, especially when an anomaly is detected on a shipment of thermosensitive products. According to the company, this application is the first mobile solution of this type dedicated to the logistics of the pharmaceutical cold chain.
The application offers in particular the possibility to monitor in real time the temperature and location of containers, to access the demand for data from shipments and to manage leases without going through a fixed workstation.
These features aim to improve the responsiveness of pharmaceutical laboratories, freight forwarders and airlines in order to preserve the integrity of transported products and to limit the risk of loss associated with a break in the cold chain.
Founded in 1979 and based in Monroe, Ohio, USA, Csafe develops temperature-controlled transportation solutions for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. The company operates more than 75 service sites worldwide and reports that it has transported more than 10 billion doses of pharmaceuticals through its cold chain solutions.
