Morocco: A new tranche of aid for road transport covers the second half of July

By: Drafting

5 August 2026 / 10:39

The Moroccan Ministry of Transport and Logistics has announced the opening of a new tranche of exceptional support for professionals in the road transport of people and goods. This aid covers the period from 16 to 31 July 2026 and is part of the continuation of measures to mitigate the impact of fuel price volatility on the sector's activities.

According to the Ministry, this new tranche responds to the government's decision to maintain this mechanism in response to fluctuations in fuel prices in international markets and their impact on the domestic market.

The support concerns road passenger and freight transport operators, whose operating costs remain highly dependent on the development of energy prices.

Eligible professionals will be able to apply from 6 August 2026 via the dedicated digital platform already used in previous support campaigns.

The authorities state that this dematerialised procedure aims to facilitate administrative procedures and to ensure the processing of applications within the framework of the exceptional arrangements set up by the Moroccan Government.
