The port and logistics group has recorded an increase of 13.1% in its turnover over the first six months of 2026, despite the decrease in volumes to Jebel Ali. Outside this port, container volumes have increased by 6.5 per cent at a comparable perimeter, while DP World plans to invest approximately $3 billion over the year as a whole.

DP World recorded a turnover of $12.7 billion in the first half of 2026, up from $11.24 billion in 2025, an increase of 13.1 per cent. These developments occur in a context of disruption of trade flows in the Middle East.

The growth in logistics, maritime services and the international port and terminal portfolio offset the decline in activity in Jebel Ali, United Arab Emirates.

Non-Jebel Ali container volumes increased by 6.5 per cent on a comparable perimeter, with growth in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Americas. At group level, however, the gross volume handled fell by 5.7% to 42.83 million TEUs, mainly as a result of the decline in traffic at Jebel Ali.

The terminal remains operational and has not suffered physical damage, but the regional conflict has led to a temporary reduction in the number of vessels. DP World states that it has strengthened terrestrial connection solutions to ensure the movement of priority cargoes.

The group is also planning to develop two new terminals in Fujairah under a 50-year concession. These facilities must complement the port network of the United Arab Emirates and expand the possibilities of shipping around the Jebel Ali ecosystem.

DP World has invested $1.5 billion in the first half of the year and plans to invest approximately $3 billion in 2026, including new capacity and business infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, India, Saudi Arabia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Financially, the adjusted EBITDA stood at $2.86 billion, down 5.6% over one year. At comparable scope and at constant exchange rates, the decrease is 8.3%.

The group indicates that the increase in volumes outside Jebel Ali was accompanied by an increase of 9.7% of the adjusted EBITDA on this basis. These results occur as DP World continues to develop its portfolio of ports, marine services and logistics solutions integrated into several markets.
